2021 Best of Reader\u2019s Choice<\/h1>\n

It\u2019s no surprise that Mystic, CT has won so many awards in the past for its tourist activities, apparel stores, restaurants and attractions. A look at our beautiful area will paint a picture of all there is to see and do in the area. This past week The Day\u2019s 2021 Best of Reader\u2019s Choice Award Winners<\/a> were announced and so many of our favorite Mystic destinations were chosen.<\/p>\n

Attractions<\/b><\/p>\n

Olde Mistick Village<\/a> has been in business for 50 years, and it is no surprise to anyone that this wonderful shopping destination won 13 awards this year in the Best of Awards. Starting off with the Best Place to Take a Visitor, Olde Mistick Village! Coming in second place for best place to take a visitor, Mystic Aquarium<\/a>, which also won First place for Best Area Attraction and Second place for Best Family Outing.<\/p>\n

Restaurant Winners<\/b><\/p>\n

Pink Basil<\/a> is a casual restaurant located in Olde Mistick Village. They won Best Asian Cuisine and Best Thai Cuisine as they serve an array of Asian cuisine. Their menu offers a wide variety of classic Thai, Japanese, Korean & Vietnamese food, and the most exquisite selection of sushi. The portions are very generous, the service is great and the food is absolutely delicious! Pink Basil has brought the best of Thai and Asian food to Mystic and has everyone raving about it. They also offer an outdoor, shaded patio perfect for the warm weather and a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family.<\/p>\n

Jealous Monk<\/a>, a beer garden located in Olde Mistick Village, won both Best Bar or Lounge and Third place for Best Brunch. Featuring an indoor and outdoor patio with heated globes so you can always enjoy being outside with friends and family. Looking for a place to grab a drink and a bite to eat? This place is a one-of-a-kind experience that you must try out.<\/p>\n

Mystic\u2019s best steak house, Steak Loft<\/a>, has done it again by winning 4 awards from the Best of Awards. This family-friendly steakhouse has been open since 1973 for chops, ribs, roast, a salad bar and more. Some nights you will also find live music!
